COPENHAGEN, DENMARK, October 18, 2004 - At the ADMIN2004 Europe show today, DYS Analytics, Inc., a leader in application performance management for messaging and collaboration applications, announced the new CONTROL! Usage Investigator (CUI). CUI helps IT staff "Efficiencize" IBM Lotus Domino application databases and user accounts with comprehensive Domino database usage metrics and analysis - information that IT cannot otherwise obtain through platform tools or in-house created utilities.

Part of the DYS CONTROL! family of application performance management solutions for collaboration environments, CUI helps IT save on storage and replication costs, reduce security risks and improve service levels to best maintain peak Domino performance at lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). CUI is available in December 2004 and is sold directly by DYS Analytics and through partners such as IBM.

Inactive - or little used - Domino databases, mailboxes and user accounts needlessly consume server storage and/or CPU resources, potentially consume valuable WAN bandwidth and expose the organization to security risks. Yet IT managers lack the ability to identify and cleanup enterprise-distributed databases and user IDs. Usually IT resorts to error prone and time-consuming manual evaluations or just ignores the problem by purchasing more WAN, server, disk and user license capacity. What's In CONTROL! Usage Investigator (CUI):
CONTROL! Usage Investigator is sold as a standalone solution and as part of the DYS CONTROL! suite. CUI includes facilities for:

• Automated collection - DYS' proven Information Flow Manager (IFM) module efficiently collects, on a schedule basis, relevant data from each server across the enterprise. IFM analyzes and correlates this data to the Domino Directory.
• Analysis and querying is performed using a SQL-based Analysis Database that contains a unique business-oriented schema optimized for efficient processing of database access/usage tracking analysis.
• Report distribution - using any of the included reports or using the rich drag and drop-based Report Designer, IT staff can view the analysis within the desktop client or have it posted as Web portals. Optimal email notifications alert users when their portals have been updated.
• Automation and administration through a Task Manager allowing IT staff to create automated tasks and portals on an unattended, scheduled basis.
