DYS Analytics Named One of New England's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte & Touche's "Fast 50"Program

2002 Technology Fast 500 Listing Recognizes DYS Analytics for its Outstanding Revenue Growth in Past Five Years

WELLESLEY, MA October 17, 2002 - DYS Analytics, Inc., the leader in messaging management and optimization solutions, announced that it has been named to the prestigious 2002 Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 1997-2001.

In addition to ranking on the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, DYS Analytics also was named to the New England Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in the region. DYS Analytics was one of only six New England firms on this year's New England Fast 50 list to have been a three-time Fast 50 winner.

DYS Analytics' CEO, Marco Farsheed, credits the company's unique focus on making messaging networks efficient and delivering fast return on investment (ROI) with the company's 815 percent revenue growth over the past five years - and its inclusion on the Fast 500 list. DYS' five-year increase in revenues resulted in a #399 ranking overall in the Technology Fast 500 list.

"We are honored to be recognized not only in New England but also among technology firms throughout North America, for our strong performance over the years," said Marco Farsheed, CEO of DYS Analytics. "Our industry-leading expertise in optimizing messaging and collaboration networks, and our unique multi-platform offerings position us for continued strong growth in the future."

DYS CONTROL! solutions let IT managers automate the tracking, measuring, trending, reporting and analysis of messaging traffic on collaborative platforms such as IBM Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange. Armed with these metrics, IT professionals can accelerate the planning an execution of strategic cost-reduction projects such as platform migrations and upgrades, server consolidations, topology redesigns and merger/acquisition-related network changes. With a complete picture of their traffic, usage and performance, IT managers can service levels.

"Making the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 is a testament to a company's leadership, commitment to technology, and ability to deliver the right solution at the right time," said Mark A. Evans, managing director, Deloitte & Touche Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group. "With its impressive growth rate over five years, DYS Analytics has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to succeed. We at Deloitte & Touche salute its accomplishments."

Fast 500 Selection and Qualifications
The Fast 500 list is compiled from three sources: Deloitte & Touche's 20 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, companies must have had 1997 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD and $75,000 CD, for United States and Canada respectively, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be "technology companies" defined as companies that own proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devote a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.

Technology Fast 500 winners are invited to an exclusive CEO Summit held each spring. The CEO Summit, now in its fifth year, is designed to address the unique business challenges facing these super-charged technology companies.
