WELLESLEY, MA August 3, 2005 - DYS Analytics, Inc., a leader in application performance management for messaging and collaboration applications, announced that Total Oil Trading SA (TOTSA) of Geneva Switzerland achieved significant IT time- and cost-savings by deploying DYS' CONTROL! family of application performance management solutions. Within days of deployment, TOTSA saved over three days per month that IT staff spent creating reports manually. Using DYS CONTROL, IT staff also identified and achieved significant storage, server and bandwidth savings by modifying wasteful email processes and inefficient Domino applications.

A unit of Total, France's largest corporation and the world's fourth-ranked oil and gas company, TOTSA buys and sells crude oil and refined oil products on world markets for resale to Total's vast network of customers and distributors. TOTSA has extremely large data volumes that its traders process in real-time. The traders monitor oil supply flows, pricing and market conditions from both Total's own sources and other producers and refiners. The lifeblood of the company resides in Domino applications, with users ranking it as their #1 most important business application - even more critical than external oil pricing databases. IT management demanded metrics on exactly how Domino was performing, yet providing even simple reports consumed inordinate amounts of IT staff time.
