DYS Analytics Debuts New Email CONTROL! 4.0 for Enterprise Email Traffic Management

Advanced Automation, Service Level Management and Enhanced Scalability Help Lower Total Cost of Ownership for IBM Lotus Notes/Domino Customers

ORLANDO, Fla., January 28, 2002 - DYS Analytics, Inc., the leader in enterprise traffic management solutions and an IBM business partner, today announced Email CONTROL! 4.0 for Lotus Notes and Domino based on DYS's next-generation CONTROL! architecture. The new release enhances the company's solutions for reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of Domino and managing messaging service levels.

Enhancements in Email CONTROL! 4.0 include more powerful and flexible reporting and fully automated data collection, analysis and report distribution. Backed by the new features in Email CONTROL! 4.0, large globally distributed organizations can easily set up Email CONTROL! 4.0 to provide automated, hands-off analysis and reporting on email traffic. With this information, IT organizations can optimize their email networks to lower costs and improve service levels. Email CONTROL! 4.0 is on display this week at Lotusphere 2002 in the DYS Analytics booth #622-623.

As organizations focus on reducing their Domino TCO, they are looking for ways to optimize the utilization of their current network environment. As a result, they are engaging in strategic cost-reduction initiatives such as consolidation of servers and data centers. Email CONTROL! 4.0 provides the critical intelligence needed to effectively plan and execute these projects and then monitor their networks on an on-going basis.

Guide Strategic Initiatives
DYS Email CONTROL! 4.0 provides organizations with detailed analysis to fine-tune their networks for planning and managing major initiatives including:

  • Server consolidations, network mergers and domain consolidations
  • Mail topology design and optimization
  • Load balancing for better utilization of existing servers, bandwidth, and storage
  • Email traffic reduction programs, including the creation of actionable policies and procedures to reduce users' misuse and/or abuse of the messaging environment as well as other wasteful email patterns.

"We understand that our customers are under tremendous pressure to reduce costs while improving their service levels," said Marco Farsheed, CEO of DYS Analytics. "They need to do more with much less, but they cannot effectively manage what they do not understand. DYS is uniquely positioned to offer products and services needed by our customers to achieve these challenging goals with maximum efficiency and ROI."
